Purpose                                  
Provide support to the Coding Resource Team in the delivery of an exceptional coding resource product that is accurate, complete and concise.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track/log all pertinent inquiries and issues that arise, into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management); an electronic data depository tool that houses all crucial client challenges and problem resolutions
    • Ensure this information is tracked timely and appropriately, and all data recorded is easily searchable/accessible via hyperlinks to client coding policies
  • Monitor all emails received through Outlook:
    • Ensure all internal and external client communications are responded to in a timely manner
  • Log and update the task tracking library:
    • Ensure all CRT requests, updates, issues, and new clients are being logged in the task tracking library
  • Maintain all client coding information in CRM coding fields, Master Client Grid, Master Coding Grids, and all coding templates and UAC grids on Garden are up to date by following Coding Policy QA process
    • Run annual review of all policy fields to ensure consistency
  • Run QA Process for all coding policy updates to ensure 100% accuracy (CRM, Garden coding policy pages, UAC reasons)
  • Assist in executing and tracking the Annual Coding Policy Review project/push out all policies to clients for a review and to follow thru until it’s 100% completed
  • Schedule conference calls with internal and external clients and record notes pertinent to the discussions.
  • Maintain and organize policy binders, team manuals, and Coding Resource Library on Garden.
  • Attend to special administrative projects as assigned.
  • Must be organized and be able to prioritize between multiple tasks or projects.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures.
 
Qualifications

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Baseline knowledge of medical coding is preferred but not required (or currently in a certification program is a plus)

Computer Skills
  • Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word required.

Experience
  • Prior experience and proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook and Word Doc required
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative role is required
  • Work experience in clinical setting is preferred

  • Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a professional manner
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
