Title: Statewide Housing Navigation Coordinator

Purpose of Position: Seeking highly organized and proactive administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and follow-up skills and be adept at creating, managing, and updating various Excel spreadsheets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Primary daily point of contact to the Director of Housing Navigation regarding Statewide Housing Navigation
  • In conjunction with the Director establish effective communication procedures both internally and externally to effectively manage internal operations and external partnerships.
  • Successfully foster landlord and partnering providers’ relationships while working as part of the Statewide Housing Navigation Program.
  • Respond to landlord inquiries received from phone, email or in-person.
  • Review housing application packets to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Create, maintain, and enter data into excel spreadsheets and generates regular reports to track information related to landlords, housing units, client applications, and payments.
  • Liaison with landlords, staff, and other providers.
  • Upholds and advocates for the agency’s mission and utilizes the values of safety, respect, and effectiveness in making decisions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
  • Associates Degree or advanced certification preferred, extensive experience may substitute for degree
  • 3 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or related position
  • Additional experience in property management or human services is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to track progress
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Can work effectively independently as well as a member of a team.
