The Application Engineering Associate will report directly to the Applications Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing Bills of Material (BOM) of quoted assemblies, and the creation and maintenance of part numbers, BOMs and routers in ERP system in support of the contract review process. In this position, the successful candidate, will need to work closely with team members from other departments, including Sales, Customer Service, Materials and Quality to assist with completion of various customer RFQ and new order task requirements. Additional responsibilities will include generation of ECO’s under the direction of the Applications Engineering Manager, implementing required changes within the ERP system and supporting the applications engineering team with generation of customer quote proposals as needed. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as required to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with other departments
- Individual must be able to work at the pace necessary to meet departmental goals and deadlinesÂ
- Good time management skills with excellent attention to detail is a must
- Ability to interpret customer drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with Military and Commercial specifications for connectors, cable, backshells, and other copper and fiber optic cable harness components is a plus
- Ability to use online sources to help research tooling and mating requirements for customer proposals
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel and MS Word)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US Person
