- Pay rate: $ 27.00-30.00 hourly
- Job Location: Warren, RI
Job Description:
- Work with a variety of machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders such as Haas, Fadal, Mori Seiki and Okuma, ensuring precision and quality in every piece you produce.
- Expertise in independently setting up complex, advanced, and non-routine jobs.
- Proficiency in using measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work routers accurately.
- Experience in dismantling jigs, tools, and special fixtures.
- Skills in making and modifying tooling as necessary.
- Willingness to train and mentor co-workers on CNC machine operations and inspection techniques.
- A keen eye for maintaining drawing specifications by monitoring for dimensional and visual accuracy.
- Commitment to safe handling of raw materials and hazardous waste, in line with environmental standards.
- Dedication to performing preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Candidates with significant experience may be considered in place of formal education).
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in performing adjustments and offsets in CNC Machining for both Mills and Lathes (Required).
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
- Work Ethic: A dedicated professional with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary is also essential.
- Commitment to Excellence: Operate in full compliance with all site policies and procedures, practice the principles of conduct & action, and strictly adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
