Overview:
A growing technology manufacturer is seeking an experienced Product Line Manager to drive revenue growth and market expansion for a portfolio of high-tech components. This individual will lead cross-functional efforts between sales, marketing, and engineering teams to maximize commercial success. This is a confidential search on behalf of our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive top-line revenue growth for assigned product categories, while meeting profitability targets.
- Lead and manage a small team of specialists focused on product marketing and sales enablement.
- Serve as the key liaison for internal teams, channel partners, and external customers on all matters related to product strategy, sales support, and business development.
- Coordinate responses to customer requests, including complex proposals and pricing inquiries.
- Oversee timely and accurate quotation processes and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts and booking projections for leadership review.
- Own product pricing strategy, configuration oversight, and distribution/channel strategy.
- Ensure marketing and sales materials are current, relevant, and available to internal and external stakeholders. Deliver product training to support the commercial team.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and confidently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally without restrictions
- Fluent in English
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to export compliance regulations)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment or with engineered components
- Industry experience in electronic components, cable assemblies, or related technologies
- Working knowledge of Excel PivotTables and intermediate data analysis
- MBA or advanced business education preferred
