Job Summary:
The Director of Engineering will lead and oversee our global engineering department in
achieving objectives across our multi-disciplinary engineering activities. The Director of
Engineering will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, managing a talented team of
engineers, and ensuring the successful development of leading-edge solutions for military
and aerospace applications.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams globally, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the design and development of products tailored to meet the exacting requirements of the military and aerospace sectors.
- Develop and execute global engineering strategies in alignment with company objectives, ensuring design excellence, cost-effectiveness, and product reliability.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among engineering teams in different regions to optimize product development and integration.
- Efficiently manage global engineering resources, budgets, and project timelines.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and apply relevant innovations to our product portfolio.
- Other responsibilities or duties as required.
- Extensive leadership experience in the military, aerospace, or related industries,
- with a proven track record of managing global teams.
- In-depth expertise in interconnect design, manufacturing processes, and a deep
- understanding of industry standards.
- Exceptional project management skills with a history of successful product
- launches.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- 10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience leading an engineering department
- 2 years of experience managing a global team
