- Schedule: M-F, standard first shift

Description:
Install and repair CNC machines and accessories at customer site. Provide technical information on machine operation or repair of machines and accessories.
Scope and Responsibilities:
- Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
- Install machines and accessories at customer sites. Installation includes all necessary assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring of machines and accessories.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories at customer sites.
- Test operation of machines and accessories after completing installation or repair
- Train customers on functions of the machines
- Learn new machines features and accessories as they become available
- Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, parts installed
- Travel is required. Assignments will require overnight or multiple night stay.
- Utilize various test equipment for trouble shooting purpose, indicators, test bars, clamp force, gages, etc.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma
- 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly preferred
- 3-7 years of experience in Field Service
Skills:
- Read/understand engineering drawings
- Ability to work on own or in group while completing necessary tasks
- Ability to understand PLC
- HYD/Pneumatic circuits
- General computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive daily basis.
- Heavier lifting more than 50lbs on a periodic basis
- Ability to solve problems depending on situation.
- Sound writing and reporting skills.
- Strong people skills.
