Job Description

Full Stack Lead Blaze Developer 

Location:
•    Dallas candidates preferred if feasible.
•    “Possible travel for onshore resource to support plant visits and customer meetings” for both roles.
•    If in Dallas 1-2 days in office preferred, otherwise remote.
•    If out of city, travel expenses will be covered based on pre-approvals.

Rate: 62-73/hr plus expenses if needed

Skills (EXPERT/ADVANCED/NONE)

  • Fullstack Blaze Lead
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on both support and development roles.
  • Experience in a lead developer role, with demonstrated ability to guide and mentor a development team.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Strong understanding of back-end technologies, including server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Strong experience with Blaze business rules engine used to design & maintain complex rulesets, decision structures and ability to integrate 
  • Hands on experience in Blaze Advisor Rules Engine 6.x/7.x
  • Preferred experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and automation


Description:
•  Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development & support team, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
•    Mentor junior developers, foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing, and promote best practices within the team.
•    Lead code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions to drive continuous improvement.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
•    Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for existing and new applications.
•    Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
•    Respond to user-reported issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and provide timely resolutions.
•    Investigate and diagnose software defects, identifying root causes and implementing effective fixes.
•    Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure system stability.


Other:
•    Experience leveraging AWS cloud platform to develop enterprise applications using core AWS services (EC2, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
•    Experience in OOP, design patterns, containers, microservices, serverless implementations.
•    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
•    Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
