Job Description

The Intake Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting conflict reports regarding new client business. The Intake Analyst will identify and communicate potential conflicts to the attorneys and assist with the daily functions of the Client Intake Department.  This position reports to the Client Intake Manager. 



Initiate the conflict checking process all new Firm business using Intapp Open to run conflict reports and remove irrelevant information.
Review and analyze conflict of interest reports to identify potential conflicts issues. 
Verify that conflict searches are complete, consistent and accurate.
Perform extensive research using multiple on-line sources for all new clients to the firm.
Request additional information from the inquirer when necessary.
Fulfill special conflict information requests as required.
Assist in the review and approval of new client intake submissions.
Provide guidance to attorneys and assistants regarding conflicts and intake policies/procedures.
Respond to conflict and client intake related inquiries and requests promptly, with courtesy and efficiency.
Re-open and close clients and matters, as requested.
Process client/matter change requests.
Assume additional responsibilities as requested. 
This role requires 60% in office presence; remote work is permissible 40% of the time.

Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years’ of experience with conflicts analysis required; prior experience in a large law firm environment a plus.
Knowledge of conflict rules under the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and administrative skills. 
Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.
Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability and logical thought process.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands and meet various deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Outstanding sense of customer service. 
Enthusiastic, proactive and positive attitude.
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. 
Must be self-motivated to produce quality work. 
High level of integrity and honesty. 
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
