- Pay rate: $19-$22/hr.

- Schedule: 1st Shift M-F 7:30am-4pm

Summary:
- The Electro-Mechanical Assembler works in a one-piece flow cell performing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools. This is for specialized computers and displays and requires assembling ESD sensitive delicate components and cables.
- Positive attitude and team player. Ability to read and write English. Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment. Demonstrate knowledge/capability to build and possibly do limited testing on units on the manufacturing floor.
- Technical Capacity to understand the parts, drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
- Learning Orientation—ability/desire to learn different product lines and Lean manufacturing.
- Time Management—ability to work effectively in fixed capacity production line.
- Thoroughness—extremely attentive to accuracy and detail.
- Team Player—works well as a member of a team or a group
Responsibilities:
- Function in Lean manufacturing environment, adding value by reducing waste.
- Understands Assemble/test parts using drawings, bill of material.
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, including crimping is required
- The ability to use common hand and power tools may require use of specialized tools
- Follow documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and proper functioning of parts
- Meet job completion and ship dates
- Reports on defective materials or questionable conditions to the production supervisor
- Maintain good housekeeping of area
- Assist in other manufacturing cells as required
- Assembly requires medium-to-heavy lifting, up to 30 lbs.
