  • Pay rate: $24.28 - $34.86/hr 
  • Job Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (hybrid, 2-3 days in office)

Job Description
The Payroll Administrator support accurate and timely processing of Payroll for the North America employees. They will partner with our vendor ADP as well as HR teams, to ensure payroll processing success. They will support complex payroll impacting projects as they arise to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy are maintained. This role will perform all these tasks working independently and report results, issues or finding to the director, as needed.

Main responsibilities/Job Expectations:
  • Support the processing of payroll for the US and Canada with 700+ employees
  • Assist on reconciling all payroll and HR changes to the system
  • Support payroll accounting work
  • Maintain payroll files and forms to audit standards
  • Maintain productive working relationship with Human Resources
  • Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of U.S. staff
  • Support payroll acquisition processes as needed
  • Other payroll support work or projects as needed
  • Knowledge, abilities, & experience:
  • Education / Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • CPP preferred

Experience
  • 3+ years hands on processing payroll with hourly and exempt employees
  • 1+ years working with ADP, preferably Workforce Now

Key Technical Competencies Required
  • Advanced Excel skills including common formulas (i.e. VLookup, IF statements, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Must work well in a team environment and have a willingness to collaborate and share ideas
  • Have a proactive, customer focused approach to timely issue resolution
  • Excellent analytical skills are required, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical materials and concepts in a non-technical manner
  • Ability to hold information confidential
