This includes staffing machines, maintaining productivity, and meeting quality requirements. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for assigning and transacting materials and supplies within the ERP system for each order. The Production Supervisor models employee ownership behaviors, promotes engagement of their direct reports, and focus on enhancing our customers’ experience.

Overview:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for assigning and supervising the activities on the production floor. This includes staffing machines, maintaining productivity, and meeting quality requirements. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for assigning and transacting materials and supplies within the ERP system for each order. The Production Supervisor models employee ownership behaviors, promotes engagement of their direct reports, and focus on enhancing our customers’ experience.
Principle Duties and Essential Functions:
- Leads the production activities on assigned shift.
- Manages the performance and training of direct reports.
- Performs production planning activities as required.
- Champions Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
- Maintains the production area in “visitor ready” condition.
- Champions the culture of quality.
- Lead and/or participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and action plans.
- Compiles and reports operational metrics.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience (> 10 years) in technical, quality or supervisory role.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Lean and other tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others.
- PC Skills - Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems, eQMS.
- Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Current driver’s license.
Additional Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience working in a regulated medical device (or similar) manufacturing environment.
- Formal root cause analysis tools.
- Experience writing detailed, comprehensive nonconformance and CAPA investigations and reports.
- 10 Hour OSHA Certificate
