QC Inspector
 

Summary of essential job functions

• Mechanical and visual inspection of manufactured items
• Verify the condition of outgoing orders
• Visual inspection of count, kind, and accuracy
• Error reporting and remediation
• Assist in root cause investigations
• Familiarity with non-conformance reporting
• Continuous improvement activities as a team member
• Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s ISO 9001 procedures and perform duties within the scope of these procedures.

Skills and Experience

• 3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical inspection background.
• Strong mechanical blueprint reading ability.
• Ability to measure accurately using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures.
• Some experience in warehouse and order fulfillment serving in quality or supervisory function
• Some familiarity with ISO 9001:2015
• Valve, pipe, and actuator experience a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good organizational skills 
• Ability to schedule their time effectively to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills oral and written.
