Job Summary
This position will be responsible for participating in the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods for raw materials and oligonucleotides. The candidate will work with the senior level scientists to perform troubleshooting, failure investigations and/or method optimization and ensure that appropriate documentations are accurately completed. In addition, the candidate will establish communication across multiple groups to provide analytical testing support for various projects.

- Participates in analytical method development, method validations, and equipment validations.
- Supports raw material qualifications.
- Supports QC and PTE investigations.
- Supports QC testing (as needed).
- Supports internal & external customers through analytical testing.
- Supports notebook lot testing during product development.
- Engages in continuous improvement.

- Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
- College degree required
- BS/ScB: Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science
- 0-4 years of relevant experience
- HPLC, UPLC and/or LCMS experience desired
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheet and word applications
- Oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills

- Basic problem-solving skills
