Description:
- Perform amplification based diagnostic assays (PCR and TMA)
- Perform applicable internal analytical and performance testing methods used in Customer Product Support
- Assist with troubleshooting experimentation required for projects/investigations
- Operate basic laboratory equipment with safety mindset.
- General laboratory maintenance.
- Assist in executing protocols and reports for experimentation as appropriate.
- Perform/assists with simple to moderate investigations while using appropriate root cause analysis and lab investigation tools/processes.
- Perform simple to moderate risk assessments as appropriate.
- Perform simple data analysis as required.
- The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- B.S. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering
- 0-2 years of laboratory experience
- Working knowledge of general laboratory procedures, laboratory safety, and record-keeping
- Basic technical writing skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Root cause analysis and/or problem solving is preferred
- Experience with systems such as Oracle or Agile at any level is desired
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Lab Practices is preferred
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
