Description:
We’re working with a cutting-edge life sciences manufacturer in Lawrence, MA, and they’re looking to add a Quality Control Technician to their growing team. If you bring hands-on quality inspection experience and strong computer skills, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a company producing advanced cell counting and image cytometry devices used in biomedical research and diagnostics.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct product and material inspections to verify compliance with specifications and drawings
- Use calipers, gauges, and other basic inspection tools to ensure quality
- Generate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and lead MRB discussions for resolution
- Maintain and organize inspection records and retain samples per protocol
- Escalate quality issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution
- Review and redline SOPs to support standard work and continuous improvement
- Recommend process improvements using critical thinking and problem-solving
- Manage QC inventory using Kanban principles
- Verify calibration of test equipment and tools per established programs
- Support additional quality-related initiatives as needed
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of Quality Control experience, preferably in a biomedical or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical or scientific field
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards
- Background in continuous improvement methodologies

- Location: Lawrence, MA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift
- Pay Rate: $21.77/hour
- Contract Duration: 6+ months (with potential to convert)
- Target Start Date: 07/28/2025
