Title: Â OCS SpecialistÂ
Hiring Organization: Connexion Systems & Engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
• BS or BSN degree in combination with equivalent medical experience, with 2+ years’ experience in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, and ED.
• Completion of comprehensive hands-on training and OCS certification across 3 organ platforms at Clients state-of-the-art training facility in Andover, MA Annual recertification on all organ platforms
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
• Highly flexible and willing to support Hub sites as needed within and across regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• On call 15 days a month 24 x 7 (including holidays/weekends); including travel/ coverage to clinical sites within and outside of home regions to perform OCS platform support as described above When not on call, work remotely from home or as assigned during standard working hours.
• Relay real time phone updates while supporting ongoing OCS cases
• Manage inventory & shipments on a weekly basis
• Provide customer support as needed (hospital in-services & refresher training)
• Preparation and submission of post case documentation and case reviews
• Assist with Lab trainings and R&D activities
• Apply OCS platform knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport, and assessment
• Work closely with transplant teams, transportafon companies, and surgical teams to ensure organs are safely transported to the transplant center.
