Title: Validation Engineer
Hiring Organization: Connexion Systems & Engineering

Compensation, Benefits, and Employment Type
  • Duration: 6+ month contract, potential for extension
  • Pay rate: $60-$75/hr (+$120/week to offset parking/commuting)
  • Job Location: Boston, MA
  • Schedule: M-F, 1st shift, with occasional off-hours/weekend work
  • Job#: bh17870

Description:
We’re partnered with a top-tier pharmaceutical company in Boston looking to bring on three experienced Validation Engineers to support commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) initiatives at their Cell and Gene Therapy manufacturing site. If you’ve got hands-on experience in equipment and/or manufacturing process validation within a GMP environment—and you're ready to hit the ground running—this could be your next big move.

These are onsite roles based in Boston with a target start date of August 18th. This team values independence, accountability, and precision. If you can quietly execute with confidence and take full ownership of your projects, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:
  • Execute CQV activities across a wide range of GMP equipment and systems
  • Author and execute validation protocols (URS, IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Conduct instrumentation qualifications per USP<1058>
  • Perform automation compliance assessments (21 CFR Part 11)
  • Lead and support process validation efforts including APS, PPQ, and material qualifications
  • Coordinate validation efforts with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Ensure all activities align with internal SOPs, GDP, and cGMP standards
  • Maintain 100% training compliance

What You Bring:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant validation experience in pharma or biotech (more is better)
  • Solid background in equipment and/or manufacturing process validation (not software validation)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Ability to independently manage validation projects with minimal oversight
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Experience with isolators is a plus, but not required

Why This Role Stands Out:
  • Work onsite at a premier facility advancing next-gen therapies
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams across multiple departments
  • Competitive pay: $60–$75/hr (W2)
  • Opportunity to grow your validation expertise in a high-impact setting

This team sets a high bar—but if you're up for the challenge, you’ll be stepping into a role that offers visibility, responsibility, and the chance to work on truly meaningful science.
