  • ServiceNow Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in supporting automation and workflows related to tools and systems in the AWS environment
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and development, with a focus on automation and AWS integrations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and technologies, including API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and other relevant scripting and automation technologies.
  • Solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and frameworks, such as ITIL.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations with AWS services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex automation and integration requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and AWS admin
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in supporting automation and workflows related to tools and systems in the AWS environment. As an SME, you will be responsible for leveraging the capabilities of ServiceNow to automate processes, workflows, and integrations with AWS services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to provide ServiceNow support, drive automation initiatives, and optimize operational efficiency within the AWS ecosystem.

ServiceNow Automation and Support:
•    Provide technical support and expertise in ServiceNow to support automation initiatives and workflows related to tools and systems within AWS.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and design automation solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
•    Configure and customize workflows, business rules, scripting, and other automation components in ServiceNow to meet specific AWS integration needs.
•    Ensure the stability, availability, and reliability of the ServiceNow platform and related integrations with AWS services.

AWS Integration and Workflow Automation:
•    Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between ServiceNow and AWS services to automate processes and workflows.
•    Leverage AWS APIs, Lambda functions, AWS Step Functions, and other relevant technologies to create seamless integrations with ServiceNow.
•    Collaborate with AWS architects and engineers to define integration patterns, establish connectivity, and ensure data consistency and security.
•    Monitor and optimize AWS integration points to enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
•    Analyze existing processes and workflows within the AWS ecosystem and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
•    Recommend and implement process enhancements and automation strategies to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
•    Conduct regular assessments and reviews to measure the effectiveness of automation solutions and identify areas for enhancement.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, AWS administrators, and end-users to understand automation requirements and provide effective solutions.
•    Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support and implementation on ServiceNow automation capabilities, AWS integration best practices, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills:
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
