Description: The Service Management Developer (ServiceNow) will be responsible for building, maintaining, and administering ServiceNow modules, ensuring they are mobile-friendly, scalable, and high-performing.
The role involves working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating closely with a dedicated Service Management/ServiceNow team.

? Design, develop, and implement new ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
? Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
? Design and configure workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, and client scripts.
? Implement automated notifications, reports, and dashboards.
? Knowledge and experience dealing with asset management, discovery, scoped applications, integrations, and other ServiceNow areas such as SPM
? Develop and implement complex workflows and automate business processes.
? Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications using REST, and SOAP APIs.
? Develop and maintain integration interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems.
? Implement patches, upgrades, and new releases of the ServiceNow platform.
? Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
? Participate in ServiceNow configuration projects/work efforts, and coordinate activities with across-functional team.
? Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are followed.
? Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

? Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing procedures.
? Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
? Ensure timely updates and proactive communication with management and customers when working with external stakeholders to the ServiceNow team.
? Participate in Scrum meetings and follow Agile development processes.
? Propose and implement enhancements to the ServiceNow platform to improve efficiency and effectiveness.



Experience:
? 5+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.
? 5+ years of experience with Managed Service providers.
? 3+ years of experience in front-end web development and design.
? Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services).
? Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology.
?Proficiency in ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, etc.)
? Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS)
? Knowledge of web technologies (AJAX, XML, JSON)
? Integration experience (REST, SOAP APIs)
? UI/UX design within ServiceNow
? Workflow design and implementation
? Strong organizational and communication skills.
? Ability to balance multiple projects and reassess priorities in a fast-paced environment.
? Solid understanding of software development processes, information architecture, and software usability.
? Proven track record of delivering enterprise mobile-friendly ServiceNow modules.
? Experience with Agile Project Management.
? Familiarity with Scrum Framework and Agile Software Deployment.
? Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and coworkers.
? Passion for enhancing customer experience and operational excellence.
? Availability for after-hours support and on-call rotation.

 
Skills (EXPERT/ADVANCED/NONE)
  • ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, etc.)
  • Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS)
  • Integration experience (REST, SOAP APIs
  •  ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) with current active credentials
  • ITILv4 certification 
  •  ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for ITSM, CSM, ITAM, and SPM.
