Solution/Product Marketing Specialist


Summary: We are incubating SaaS solutions with strategic customers. We are looking for a savvy Solution Marketing Specialist to bring a SaaS product to market. This position will work closely with our solution/product manager and our marketing colleagues. Success is measured in driving SaaS revenue.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success serving as a Solution or Product Marketing Specialist/Lead in a fast-growth SaaS company
  • A strong history of content creation including presentations, white papers, blogs, videos, product/solution collateral, and more
  • Experience presenting to executives, sales teams, and others
  • Experience creating effective PowerPoint presentations

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Subject Matter Expertise (20%)
    • Developing in-depth knowledge of our solution, clients, competitors, and industry trends.
    • Providing best practices experience on SaaS solution marketing

 

  • The Solution Marketing Specialist is the voice for the SaaS product in internal discussions on strategy, positioning and author the Marketing Roadmap (20%)
    • Collaborate with the Solution /Product Manager on solution strategic plan, target development, internal development phasing, and plans for training/promotion of feature releases.
    • Capture client feedback by previewing a mock-up, participating in pilots, beta releases, etc
    • Assessing existing content and prioritizing roadmap for solution marketing collateral development

 

  • Marketing Execution (60%)
    • More than half of this position is focused on bringing the SaaS product to market; a lot has been built already.
    • Design and develop/refine solution marketing collateral, including solution briefs, solution overviews, sales decks, case studies, web and social media content
    • Develop marketing campaigns, including strategies to drive awareness and interest, tailoring content to target customer segments,
    • Collaborate with our fellow marketing team and agents to produce more complex assets.
    • Success in this portion of the Solution Marketing Specialist duties means delivering the numeric results outlined in the strategic plan, adjusting quickly to new insights, and solving roadblocks.
