Sr. Salesforce Techno-Functional Analyst

Job Purpose

Serves as the go-to person who listens to the voice-of-the-customer for Marketing, Sales and Support functions. Manages projects and provides hands-on support for all phases of the systems development lifecycle for our Salesforce application with 100+ users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with stakeholders to optimize sales processes from campaign-to-invoice.
  • Plays multiple roles depending on the need. For example
    • hands-on technical role for business run project (e.g., multi-currency, etc.)
    • project manager to drive overall coordination within the department and across the business
    • technical lead for Salesforce and related projects (e.g., Lightning upgrade, etc.)
    • Advise or consult for projects that are run by external consultants. Audit consultant’s SLDC deliverables for quality.
  • Develops project artifacts and applies project management disciplines.
  • Documents requirements, develops\tests solutions, ensures thorough user acceptance testing with success evidence.
  • Provides system\security administration and on-going support. Resolves incidences and fulfils service requests.
  • Develops and maintains interfaces from the Salesforce to other systems supporting the Sales cycle.
  • Continually monitors sales data quality and drives process improvement to help enable clean, deduplicated sales data and common keys to other integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement solutions.

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

  • 7+ years working directly in IT and with Sales\Marketing\Service management and other stakeholders to assess situations, document requirements, and manage the implementation within Salesforce and related systems.
  • 7+ years hands-on Salesforce technical configuration\programming experience (CPQ+, Lightening CRM, Inbox, APEX)
  • 3+ years working within a structured project management framework with gated approvals
  • Ideally, experience leading outsourced projects
  • Ideally, experience with or exposure to SAP ECC customer, product, pricing, order management and invoicing modules.
  • Ideally, experience with or exposure to Dell Boomi integration experience or some other integration tool, to and from Salesforce.

Education and/or Experience

  • BS degree ideally in computer science or related field and 10+ years business applications experience playing different roles as a Business Analyst, Project Manager and\or Configuration\Programmer.
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce configuration, APEX programming, security model.
  • Experience and comfort level in interacting with business users across multiple disciplines (finance, operations, sales, marketing, etc.) to document requirements and to facilitate the development lifecycle.
  • Experience working in very fast paced environments where employees are hands-on and doing a wide variety of tasks.
  • 3+ years working within a structured project management framework with gated approvals.
  • Flexible work ethic\attitude to support additional projects\tasks\etc. when needed, open to learning new Salesforce modules\features and add-on tools.

  • Agreeable work environment typical of an open office setting with some exposure to noise from office machines.
  • This position will be "homebased" but ideally in an East Coast time zone.
