BROAD FUNCTION:  This newly created position will be a core team member within the e-business leadership team in developing and executing a best-in-class integrated customer experience strategy across all digital channels for the brands. The User Experience and Interface Sr. Manager will lead UX research and work with our design team (Global Creative Studio) to focus on crafting human-centric experiences across a variety of digital platforms and solutions (DTC shopping and checkout journeys, website engagement tools as quizzes, and powerful communication touchpoints as registration forms, smart popups or Email marketing), in Pure Encapsulations digital ecosystem. You will lead UX agency, partner closely with design team, website product owners, and development agencies to build customer-specific decision making, unlock deep insights about customer’s behaviors and attitudes and communicate learning that inspires creativity and action across a set of digital platforms. Also, your role holds ongoing innovation, being responsible for suggesting future websites tools, recognized in the market by excellent UX.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of professional excellence particularly in the fields of User Experience and Interface, helping to make Pure Encapsulations the best-in-class destination for costumers and shoppers to discover, engage, and build affinity with brands—making shopping beautiful, delightful, and personal. This person is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex, interconnected problems and organizational structure. You will define goals, direction and strategy, but also comfortable getting into the weeds and working hands on.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands the marketplace, competitor dynamics and brings the voice of the customer to life in a way that translates to clear user experience and interface recommendations, setting a vision for existing and new digital features/assets.
  • Propose and lead adoption of user experience studies, methods such as ethnographic research or heuristic criteria, surveys, concept testing, and usability testing.
  • Responsibly and effectively advocate for customers by evolving and implementing methodologies to get their feedbacks (i.e.: development phase research, ongoing surveys, A/B tests); imparting day-to-day strategic design that fosters a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, content, business goals and technology needs.
  • Translate business needs into customer-focused enterprise solutions, developing baseline knowledge in all our UX & UI disciplines (Usability Test Cases, Research, Design, Content Strategy, and UX Development).
  • Develop and maintain internal and external benchmarks throughout purchase funnel and across digital channels and DTC platforms.
  • Confidently communicate with other areas and senior leadership the customer experience and interface results for brand ecosystem, suggesting actions to address problem areas. Ongoing tracking of competitors experience evolution.
  • Ensure operation excellence of the partners in planning, prioritizing, and overseeing initiatives; manage and ensure that UX research projects and UX audits are executed on time and at the highest quality levels; manage and scope agency partner initiatives; ensuring timely delivery.
  • Define Main KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), create and review tracking reports, discuss on-going optimization opportunities and insights.
  • Manage the budget forecast and phasing of spends through the year based on the calendar of activities.

Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • +7 years working on customer-facing digital products, leading UX researchers or agencies partners to deliver best-in-class integrated UX and UI.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered experience and design principles, with proven previous experience on website wireframes, wireflows, prototyping, hierarchy, sitemap, consistency, accessibility, usability tests, connections with language and typography.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence development and design team decisions through research and insights through a variety of innovative and experimental approaches.
  • Deep experience with driving and applying user-centered processes across tools and content strategy, and research while working with cross-functional teams.
  • Substantial problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
  • Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Multi-functional project management and strategy development skills; ability to successfully manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party agencies, bridging design, marketing and technical functions.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills to frame complex concepts to facilitate discussion and deeper levels of understanding across departments.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance franchise needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
  • The capability to execute rapidly and successfully in an unstructured environment.
