Description:
I’m working with a top pharmaceutical client that’s looking for an Acute Pain Strategic Operations Manager to join their Medical Affairs team. This is a contract role with high visibility, supporting operational planning, program execution, and cross-team coordination within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

If you’re highly organized, thrive in a role where you bring structure to complex projects, and have a background in pharma operations, this could be an exciting fit.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Running daily and weekly team huddles — creating agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through
  • Partnering across contracting, finance, HR, and compliance functions to keep projects moving
  • Acting as the go-to “wizard” for PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Smartsheet
  • Coordinating congress and event logistics (travel, deliverables, documentation, HCP/TL events)
  • Supporting content development, onboarding of new team members, and vendor/finance processes
  • Maintaining trackers and workflows to drive accountability and execution

What They’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of operations/project management experience (ideally in pharma or healthcare)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, unstructured environment where you’ll need to proactively solve problems
  • Strong digital skills with Microsoft Office 365 Suite — especially PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Smartsheet
  • Experience with finance/vendor management and pharmaceutical acronyms a big plus

The Right Fit
This role is for someone who can bring order to complexity, move meetings forward, and hold stakeholders accountable. If you’re adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident in managing cross-functional projects, you’ll do well here.

Interested?
Send me your resume and include quick answers to these:
  1. Have you used project management or tracking tools for deliverables?
  2. Are you comfortable approaching people in an unstructured environment to solve problems?
  3. How do you handle constant change?

Please use the apply button to submit your resume for consideration.  A Connexion Representative will contact you shortly.
