Description:
Are you experienced with computer hardware, electronics testing, or troubleshooting? We're seeking a Electronics Repair Technician to join a growing team where you'll diagnose, test, and repair returned electronic equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and wants a long-term position with a four-day workweek.
What You'll Do
- Receive and inspect returned electronic equipment
- Perform diagnostic testing using computer-based testing tools
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and determine root cause
- Repair products or determine when equipment should be scrapped
- Document testing results and repair activity in company systems (training provided)
- Configure hardware and software as needed
- Maintain organized repair inventory and replacement parts
- Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Follow safety and ESD procedures while meeting quality and productivity goals
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of electronics repair, testing, computer repair, or related technical experience
- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware or electronic equipment
- Ability to read wiring schematics and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with inventory or ERP/CRM systems is a plus (NetSuite experience not required)
