- Pay rate: $97,600 – $152,700 + Bonus Eligible + Comprehensive Benefits
- Job Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite/Hybrid)
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Quality Engineer to join a global services organization supporting innovative healthcare technologies. This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for ensuring service quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across service operations.
This position is ideal for a seasoned quality professional who thrives on solving complex problems, driving process improvements, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex service quality issues and implement effective, data-driven solutions
- Develop, evaluate, and improve standard work, service processes, and quality systems
- Lead defect analysis using statistical methods to improve service reliability and reduce costs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring KPIs, trends, and customer feedback
- Partner with Operations, R&D, and Regulatory teams to resolve non-conformances and support CAPAs
- Conduct root cause analysis on installation and service issues; implement corrective actions
- Optimize installation processes to improve first-pass yield and reduce failures
- Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO and GMP standards
- Support vendor quality management and participate in vendor selection and performance improvement
- Manage documentation control systems, reporting, and data trending activities
- Lead or contribute to division-wide quality initiatives and cross-functional projects
- Communicate and resolve quality issues with field service teams on an ongoing basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Computer, or related); Master’s preferred
- 5–8 years of relevant industry experience in quality engineering or service quality
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP regulations
- Experience with statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and quality methodologies
- Familiarity with design controls and inspection techniques
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality Engineer Certification (ASQ or equivalent)
- RAPS certification
- Lead Auditor certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
