Description:
The Expeditor/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within the production process, coordinating with various departments to meet production schedules and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Check production schedules and deadlines and adjust them as needed
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
- Resolve issues related to delayed shipments or unexpected changes in the supply chain
- Track orders and ensure they are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Communicate with project managers and provide updates on the status of materials and equipment
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience in warehouse or material handler position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Math and analytical skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools and accounting applications
- Excellent time management skills
