Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional with experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair production machinery and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic and precision measuring tools
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
- Maintain temperature- and humidity-controlled equipment
- Operate, maintain, and repair purified/RODI water systems
- Diagnose problems by observing equipment operation and identifying mechanical issues
- Adjust, repair, and replace defective components using hand and power tools
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and applicable safety procedures
- Manage and update preventive maintenance work orders
- Communicate equipment downtime, maintenance activities, and expected completion times
- Support general facility maintenance, including seasonal property maintenance and snow removal as needed
- Maintain reliable communication during regular hours and participate in rotational on-call coverage
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or relevant trade/vocational training
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must live within approximately 30 miles of Methuen, MA due to rotational on-call responsibilities and travel
