Job Description

Title: Junior Project Manager

Duration: 6 months
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (on site or hybrid)
Pay Rate: $30.00-42.85/hr

Position Overview
We are strengthening operational rigor and accelerating execution across IPG and SSG businesses. To support this effort, the SVP Office is hiring a highly motivated and proactive Junior Project Manager who will report directly to the Technical Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President.
This role is ideal for someone early in their project or program management career who wants high visibility, fast learning, and direct exposure to senior leadership, while also developing strong operational and administrative execution skills. Working as part of the SVP Office, you will support both day-to-day operational needs and cross-functional project initiatives, helping ensure the SVP and Chief of Staff can operate with maximum focus and effectiveness.
This is a hybrid role: part project coordination, part operational support, and part executive administrative support. The role includes meaningful, hands on administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and execution support, and will directly help offload work from both the Technical Chief of Staff and the SVP’s Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate understands that strong administrative execution is foundational to effective leadership, project delivery, and organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Execution

• Support and coordinate multiple projects and operational initiatives across IPG & SSG
• Track deliverables, milestones, and commitments; proactively follow up to drive accountability
• Maintain project plans, documentation, and action trackers
• Help structure ambiguous work and surface risks or blockers early

Reporting, Metrics, & Dashboards
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and progress summaries
• Support leadership readiness for reviews, operational meetings, and planning cycles
• Ensure reporting consistency, clarity, and accuracy across teams

Communication & Leadership Support
• Draft concise, executive-ready materials, presentations, and status updates
• Assist in preparing agendas, pre-read materials, and follow-up communications
• Facilitate coordinated communication across cross-functional teams

Operational & Administrative Support (Core Responsibility)
This is a core and expected component of the role and a key enabler of the SVP Office’s effectiveness.
• Manage or coordinate schedules, recurring meetings, and leadership check-ins, including hands-on calendar management across multiple stakeholders
• Assist with meeting logistics, note-taking, and follow-up tracking
• Support the Executive Assistant with operational and administrative tasks and serve as backup when needed, with the goal of reducing overload and ensuring seamless SVP Office operations
• Maintain trackers, run reports, and provide day-to-day operational and administrative support

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1–4 years of experience in project coordination, operations, administrative support, or related roles

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Comfort working with incomplete information and driving clarity

Preferred
• Experience supporting or interacting with senior leaders or executive teams
• Familiarity with project or task management tools (Asana, Jira, MS Project, etc.)
• Experience with dashboards, reporting, or structured summaries

• Understanding of basic project management methods
• Experience using AI productivity tools
