Description:
We are looking for a Production Planning & Inventory Control Associate to join our team at the Plasma Logistics Center. This role is responsible for production scheduling, inventory management, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely inbound and outbound plasma deliveries.
You will work closely with logistics, quality, and donor center management to maintain production schedules and prevent bottlenecks, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with cGMP standards.
- Manage plasma inventory and production scheduling for inbound/outbound plasma deliveries
- Perform data entry for inventory control and production using SAP and the Plasma Management System (SGP)
- Review inbound shipment documents from donor centers for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with donor center management to resolve documentation issues
- Apply critical thinking to evaluate and address atypical situations in production planning
- Maintain compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production operations
- Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or related field
- Experience with SAP, inventory control systems, Microsoft Office, and incident tracking systems
- Knowledge of plasma clerical operations preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate potential risks and make recommendations to minimize or prevent issues
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- On-site, office and warehouse coordination environment
- Must be able to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs
