This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with production, engineering, suppliers, and quality teams — not an “armchair engineer.” The ideal candidate brings a strong quality background, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn and get involved on the floor.

Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with production, engineering, suppliers, and quality teams — not an “armchair engineer.” The ideal candidate brings a strong quality background, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn and get involved on the floor.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and applicable standards
- Coordinate and lead internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, waste, and process variation
- Develop and monitor quality metrics, reporting, and performance trends
- Supervise and mentor quality inspectors and technicians
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve quality issues
- Manage supplier quality, including audits, approvals, corrective actions, FAI, and PPAP
- Develop and deliver quality training programs
- Identify opportunities to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), including scrap, rework, warranty claims, and returns
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Strong experience with QMS implementation and audit processes
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and applicable quality/regulatory standards
- Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and quality metrics
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively across departments and with suppliers, customers, and auditors
- A hands-on, collaborative approach and positive attitude
