Description:
- Rare species person who are prequalified by the Massachusetts NHESP to do work on multiple species and eventually get into Ecological Restoration projects in Massachusetts.
- Looking for someone with wetland skills as a fallback but someone who is pre-qualified with Massachusetts Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program to work with different rare & endangered species.
- Box turtles must be one of them.
- I’m thinking we start it off as septic design, septic repairs, single-family house construction, additions, etc., etc. Small stuff. Work our way up to small subdivisions, small commercial work, things like that. If it goes beyond that, great.
- We do anything and everything related to wetlands. We don’t do multi-state, federal level permitting for Eversource or National Grid. We’re doing small and medium-scale wetland permitting with Massachusetts ConComs, the RI DEM and CRMC, and peer review work for ConComs in Massachusetts. We do a lot of peer review work. And of course we’re trying to get into the endangered species business.
