Description:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join a fast-paced Supply and Demand Planning team supporting a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory levels, supporting production continuity, and driving cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and commercial operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production and supply planning within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably biotech, pharmaceutical, biologics, or other highly regulated industries. Candidates must possess advanced SAP and Excel skills, as these will be heavily evaluated throughout the interview process. Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) supply plans to support forecasted demand while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Manage planning variables including:
    • Manufacturing constraints
    • Lead times
    • WIP inventory
    • Regulatory requirements
    • Intercompany transfers
    • Inventory targets
    • Dynamic demand forecasts
  • Ensure raw materials and components are available to support production schedules.
  • Develop and execute capacity plans for manufacturing operations and associated product lines.
  • Analyze demand forecasts to identify supply risks, bottlenecks, and production constraints.
  • Recommend and implement mitigation strategies to maintain production continuity.
  • Partner closely with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams.
  • Prepare long-range production and supply plans for leadership review.
  • Support new product launches, BOM changes, process updates, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Generate supply planning KPIs, reporting, and scenario analysis for leadership teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in SAP planning and inventory management enhancement projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Planning.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • SAP ERP
    • Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and scenario-planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in biotech, biologics, pharmaceutical, plasma, or medical device manufacturing environments.
  • APICS certification or similar supply chain certification.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as:
    • Power BI
    • Tableau
  • Experience supporting global supply planning operations.

Important Notes
  • Candidates without strong SAP and Excel experience will not be considered.
  • Technical interviews will heavily evaluate SAP and Excel proficiency.
