Compensation, Benefits, and Employment Type

  • Pay rate: $65-$90/hr.

Program/Project Manager – Supply Chain

A leading research and engineering organization recently established an Enterprise Supply Chain program focused on improving end-to-end supply chain operations. The Supplier Management & Development Workstream supports this initiative through supplier management strategy, process development, and operational improvements.

We are seeking an experienced supplier management professional with strong program/project management capabilities to support the Supplier Management & Development Workstream. This role will work closely with key stakeholders to help define and implement supplier management processes, recommend industry best practices, and support organizational transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support development and refinement of supplier management processes and stakeholder responsibilities
• Recommend supplier management best practices and operational frameworks
• Assist with evaluation and implementation of supplier management capabilities and tools
• Document assumptions, recommendations, and process decisions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Develop training materials and support stakeholder training initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations

Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain operations, or related business operations
• Experience implementing supplier management processes and operational improvements
• Background working with suppliers in engineering, manufacturing, or prototyping environments
• Strong program/project management and organizational leadership experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Aerospace, defense, or government contracting experience
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS environments
• PMP, ASCM, ISM, or related certifications preferred
• Experience supporting organizational change management and process transformation

Additional Information:
• Hybrid onsite schedule expected (2–3 days per week)
• Interim clearance acceptable to start
• Multi-stage interview process including virtual interviews
