Job Description

Job Title: Scrum Master

Pay Rate: $34.97 to $42.00 per Hour
Location: Cambridge
Duration: 6 months
Shift: M-F 1st Shift

Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies, with a strong track record of executing projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Jira and delivery metrics, as well as Confluence for documentation and team coordination.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, specifically within a Workday delivery context.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a servant-leader for our development team, facilitating Agile practices and helping the team deliver high-quality work efficiently. You will act as a coach, mentor, and champion of the Scrum framework, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach and guide the development team, product owner, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices
  • Identify and remove impediments that block the team's progress
  • Shield the team from external distractions and scope creep
  • Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and key metrics to stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog
  • Support the organization in its broader Agile transformation efforts
  • Facilitate conflict resolution within the team in a constructive and positive manner
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile facilitation role
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (PSM I/II, SAFe SM)
  • Solid understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and software development life cycles
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to identify and remove blockers and manage team dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
  • Background in software development or a technical discipline
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams
