Job Title: Training Coordinator

Compensation, Benefits, and Employment Type
  • 3-year contract
  • Pay Range: $30-$40/hr.

We are seeking a Training Coordinator to support the Talent & Organizational Development team in planning, coordinating, and administering leadership and professional development programs for staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate leadership and organizational development programs, including scheduling, vendor coordination, marketing, materials, and event logistics.
  • Help maintain and organize the leadership and professional development curriculum.
  • Work with external vendors to coordinate offerings, logistics, and program evaluations.
  • Track enrollments, attendance, and completion records for leadership and training programs.
  • Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues to ensure programs run smoothly.
  • Support the tuition assistance program by explaining eligibility requirements, tracking participants, and processing payments.
  • Assist with purchasing activities and budget tracking for Talent & Organizational Development programs.
  • Provide support for additional HR programs and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a related function.
  • At least 2 years of project or program coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience coordinating virtual training or online learning events (e.g., Zoom).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Adobe Acrobat and/or InDesign.
  • Flexibility to occasionally support early morning or evening training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with enterprise Learning Management Systems (SAP or similar), including course registration, enrollments, attendance tracking, waitlists, cost chargebacks, and record reconciliation.
  • Experience with SharePoint, including document management and site organization.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and leadership or organizational assessment tools.
  • Experience supporting tuition assistance programs.
  • Experience coordinating training, professional development events, mentoring programs, or conferences.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid schedule: onsite 3 days per week, with additional onsite flexibility as needed to support training delivery.
  • Interim security clearance is sufficient to start.
  • Interview process consists of an initial Zoom interview followed by a second-round Zoom interview.
