Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Validation Engineer to join a growing team at a production-scale facility focused on testing reagents. As part of a small, agile team, you will help manage complex and fast-paced validation projects that support equipment testing, process validation, and the qualification of custom systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all site validation policies and procedures.
- Lead and support validation/qualification activities for process, cleaning, equipment, computer software, and facilities.
- Develop, execute, and approve qualification protocols in collaboration with internal and external project teams.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and internal teams to ensure proper execution of validation activities.
- Maintain up-to-date validation documentation and ensure accuracy in project files.
- Provide expert guidance to resolve technical issues during qualification activities.
- Split responsibilities 50/50 between process validation and equipment validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver validation projects on time and within scope.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Science, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech operations.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with validation in regulated environments (process, cleaning, equipment, computer software, or facilities).
- Solid experience in cGMP, OSHA, and EPA compliance.
- Strong understanding of biotech unit operations and validation principles.
- Design or owner experience in manufacturing processes and utility systems (e.g., purified water, WFI, CIP, SIP, compressed air).
- Knowledge of processes in fermentation, purification, and/or formulation.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
- Experience writing validation protocols, executing studies, and analyzing data.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Collaborative team player who can manage cross-functional relationships.
- Must be flexible and open to working weekends and overtime when needed to meet project deadlines.
