The Workday ERP Business Analyst is responsible for driving requirements, agile delivery, and quality assurance across Workday HCM and Finance implementations and operations. This role serves as the primary analytical and delivery partner for IT, Finance, and HR — translating business needs into well-defined solutions, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring that what is configured, tested, and deployed meets documented requirements. The position operates at the intersection of business analysis, sprint execution, and system quality, with Workday expertise as its foundation.

The position operates at the intersection of business analysis, sprint execution, and system quality, with Workday expertise as its foundation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across Workday HCM and Finance enhancements
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications suitable for agile delivery
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives; maintain backlog health and sprint metrics
- Drive accountability across delivery teams to support removing blockers, managing dependencies, and protecting delivery cadence
- Maintain Jira tickets, status communications, decision registers, and meeting documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate across IT, Finance, HR, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment, clear ownership, and timely delivery
- Support release planning, change management, and go-live readiness activities for Workday updates and new functionality
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts; coordinate UAT sessions with business stakeholders
- Validate Workday configurations against documented business requirements and track defects through to verified resolution
- Author and maintain SOPs, process flows, and configuration documentation to support operational continuity
- Foster and manage strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Define business priorities through close collaboration with business partners.
- Translate business priorities into a clear product roadmap.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a BA, systems analyst, or hybrid delivery role within an IT environment
- Hands-on Workday experience across HCM, Financials, or Integrations
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or demonstrated agile delivery experience
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tooling
- Experience writing requirements, user stories, test cases, and functional documentation
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills across technical and business audiences
- Workday Pro certification or full implementation project experience
- Familiarity with Workday configuration and integrations
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or upgrade cycles
- Familiarity with Finance or HR compliance requirements
