About the Role
We're seeking three Satellite Operations Operators to support a 24/7 space operations mission. This team is responsible for monitoring satellite payload health, executing operational procedures, responding to anomalies, and ensuring safe and reliable mission operations.
Operators will initially work from one assigned location and, once upgraded to a Top Secret/SCI clearance, must be willing to support operations at either facility as mission needs require.
Responsibilities
- Monitor satellite and payload telemetry to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Execute operational procedures and respond to system anomalies.
- Follow established operating, safety, and quality procedures.
- Maintain operational logs and perform detailed shift handovers.
- Coordinate with engineering and mission support teams during routine operations and anomaly resolution.
- Support troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and implementation of approved corrective actions.
- Become proficient with mission-specific software and operational tools.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting 24/7 operational environments.
- Experience executing formal operating and safety procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to perform critical mission activities under time-sensitive conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team.
- Self-motivated with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Familiarity with satellite operations, space systems, or space domain awareness concepts.
Work Environment
- 100% onsite.
- Support for a 24/7 mission requiring weekends, holidays, and occasional schedule flexibility.
- Candidates will have a primary shift but should be willing to assist with other shifts when operational needs require.
Available Shifts
- Day Shift: Friday-Tuesday | 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
- Mid Shift: Wednesday-Sunday | 2:30 PM-11:00 PM
- Night Shift: Friday-Tuesday | 10:30 PM-7:00 AM
Weekend, holiday, and off-hours support is required.
