<strong>Overview</strong><br>
The organization is seeking a&nbsp;Curriculum/Instructional Designer to support the development, delivery, and management of security education programs. This role focuses on creating training materials, coordinating awareness initiatives, analyzing program effectiveness, and ensuring personnel understand security requirements, policies, and best practices.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Develop and deliver security education materials in multiple formats, including computer-based training, presentations, posters, pamphlets, and briefings
&#9;<li>Support security education and awareness programs aligned with organizational and government requirements
&#9;<li>Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, briefings, and guest speaker events
&#9;<li>Maintain security education websites, training databases, and reporting tools
&#9;<li>Track training completion, analyze trends, and forecast future education needs
&#9;<li>Educate personnel on topics such as classified information handling, cybersecurity, physical security, insider threat awareness, and compliance requirements
&#9;<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and address gaps in security knowledge
&#9;<li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs through feedback, assessments, and data analysis
&#9;<li>Stay current on security regulations, policies, and emerging threats to continuously improve training content
&#9;<li>Provide guidance to personnel on security awareness and compliance topics
&#9;<li>Plan and execute annual security education and awareness initiatives
</ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Bachelorâs degree in instructional design, education, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
&#9;<li>At least 5 years of experience developing and delivering training content
&#9;<li>Experience presenting to both small and large audiences
&#9;<li>Experience with eLearning authoring tools
&#9;<li>Experience with Learning Management Systems
&#9;<li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
&#9;<li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
&#9;<li>Experience analyzing data, generating reports, and measuring program effectiveness
&#9;<li>Ability to work with stakeholders to develop training strategy and validate content
</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Experience with government security regulations, including NISPOM / 32 CFR Part 117
&#9;<li>Experience working in a classified or industrial security environment
&#9;<li>Familiarity with security management systems and government databases such as DISS
&#9;<li>Experience with tools such as Articulate 360, LMS platforms, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications
&#9;<li>Experience designing presentations, posters, technical documents, or visual training materials
</ul>

<p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong><br>
This is a hybrid position. The role will initially require four days onsite per week during onboarding. Once fully ramped, the schedule may shift to three days onsite and two days remote.</p>

<p><strong>Clearance</strong><br>
An interim clearance is acceptable to start.</p>

<p><strong>Interview Process</strong><br>
The interview process will include an initial video screening with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person interview with team members. The in-person interview may include a prepared presentation.</p>

<span><span><span><span><span>The Digital Engineering Center (DEC) is seeking a Training Strategist for Digital Engineering (DE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) adoption efforts. This role will develop and execute scalable, user-centered training strategies that drive adoption and effective use of PLM and Digital Engineering methodologies and tools. This role sits at the intersection of technology, engineering processes, and human proficiencyâenabling teams to work more efficiently, collaboratively, and digitally. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of PLM/DE tool instructional design, and change management. This role will partner closely with DEC team members and program staff to ensure that training not only meets skill development needs but also accelerates the organization's digital transformation goals.</span></span></span></span></span><br>

<span><span><span><span><span>Key Responsibilities:</span><br>
<span>&bull; Work with DEC leadership to design and implement a comprehensive Digital Engineering training strategy aligned with transformation goals and user needs across all levels of the organization.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Conduct learning needs assessments and user research to identify skill gaps, pain points, and opportunities for targeted training.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Develop and deliver role-based training programs (e.g., for engineers, specialists, and leadership) through blended learning approachesâeLearning, hands-on workshops, live demos, AI assistants, and knowledge bases.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), functional leads and training team to translate technical content into accessible and engaging learning experiences.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Assist training team with designing, developing, and overseeing the delivery of training programs (online, in-person, blended)</span><br>
<span>&bull; Work with DEC data scientist to track training effectiveness and adoption metrics, using data to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and communication strategies.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Maintain alignment with DE roadmaps, ensuring training evolves alongside tools and processes</span><br>
<span>&bull; Enable change management and user readiness, supporting onboarding, system rollouts, process changes, and digital capability growth across programs.</span><br>
<span>Required Skills:</span><br>
<span>&bull; Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience in Communication, Instructional Design, Education (Curriculum Development), Business Management with Marketing Emphasis</span><br>
<span>&bull; Proven experience designing and delivering technical training in complex, fast-paced prototyping environments</span><br>
<span>&bull; Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging training.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Experience with training tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, SharePoint, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or similar platforms.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Familiarity with Agile development processes and engineering lifecycle workflows</span><br>
<br>
<span>Preferred Skills:</span><br>
<span>&bull; Experience in Engineering, Instructional Design, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Knowledge of PLM tools (e.g., Aras Innovator, Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill) and digital engineering practices (e.g., model-based systems engineering, digital thread, data integration).</span><br>
<span>&bull; 5+ years of experience in PLM systems, digital engineering environments, or technical training strategy; two years of experience in training</span><br>
<span>&bull; Experience with data analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to assess training impact and system adoption</span><br>
<span>&bull; Knowledge of aerospace, defense, R&D, or other highly regulated engineering environments.</span><br>
<span>&bull; Experience leading change management or user adoption initiatives.</span><br>
<span>-Worker should expect to be onsite 2-3 days/wk; to include Wed as an onsite day</span><br>
<span>-There will be an initial interview for a pre-screening and then interviews with several stakeholders. These will likely happen in 3-4 individual 30 minute 1-on-1 zoom meetings given complexity of calendars. Prepare candidate for multiple shorter interviews vs longer panel interviews</span><br>
<span>-Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance is sufficient for start.</span></span></span></span></span><br>
